Southern RI Bass Anglers

Southern RI Bass Anglers is an independent, unaffiliated bass fishing club. We fish in 9 club tournaments each year in RI and CT., starting in the month of April. Six of them are held during the day, the other three are held at night. The member with the highest total creel weight for the entire year earns the title of "Angler Of The Year" and is awarded a Plaque, Trophy or Gift Certificate for their efforts, whichever they prefer.

We also fish in a bonus tournament in the Spring of each year for the anglers that finish in the Top Five during the previous season. These standings are based on a separate point system, which awards points based on an angler's finishing position in each tournament, not their total weight for the year. Doing so allows the most consistent anglers to be recognized for their efforts, aside from creel weights. Points are also given for attending each tournament. This tournament is known as our "Club Classic".

SRIBA has openings for new members with boats. To learn more about membership, please use the Contact Page.
