The members of SRIBA wrapped up the 2008 season at Amos Lake under post-cold-front conditions.

Despite warm weather a few days prior to the tournament, the day before brought dropping temps and cool breezes. SRIBA members arrived at Amos lake to find air temps in the low 40s and a heavy fog across the lake. Over the course of the day the fog lifted and the sun eventually came out, warming things up a bit.

Despite the conditions, a few anglers did manage to get a few bites and land some decent fish.

Isaac Claros led the pack, with the only limit of the tourney. Isaac bagged 5 fish that weighed in at 8.50 lbs. Isaac said he caught his fish mostly in water between 14 and 20 feet deep, on jigs, spinnerbaits and swimbaits.

Landing in second place, Curt Snow brought 3 bass to the scales. Curt's fish weighed in at 5.37 lbs. Curt caught one of his bass on a buzzbait early in the morning and then landed his other two on Senkos in 5 - 7 feet of water.

Landing in third place and also bagging the tourney lunker, Steve Burke brought one bass to the scales that weighed 4.17 lbs. Steve caught his fish on a Jig & Pig from just a few feet of water, near a submerged tree limb.
